Contact support
For playback problems, feature questions and privacy questions. The app is currently being prepared for its first release.
What to include
Tell us your Percept Player version, macOS version, what happened and what you expected. For playback issues, the file format and audio output device can help.
You do not need to send your videos, subtitle files or viewing history.
Spatial audio questions
Check that your output device supports Spatial Audio and that it is enabled in macOS. Availability also depends on the selected audio track and playback format. Not every file supports Atmos playback.
Privacy when contacting us
Support messages are received through Gmail and used to respond to your request. Percept Player does not automatically attach your videos, history or playback preferences.
Open-source libraries
Percept Player uses FFmpeg, libmpv and other open-source playback libraries. The public library-source release contains source archives, modifications, license notices and rebuild materials for the version 1.0, build 26 libraries. Build 27 uses the same library binaries.
